Google Drive

Google Drive Review
For $1.99 /mo

$9.99/month for 1TB

free trial 15GB Forever

Google Drive is a file-syncing tool, but if you want simplified photo storage, it’s a great place to start. Plus, you get 15GB of free storage space – always a bonus.

While Google Drive is primarily a collaboration suite, it is excellent for photo storage. You can setup your Google Drive app through your Google+ account on your iPhone and Android devices. Then, any time you take a photo with your smartphone, it automatically uploads to your Google account.

Google Drive’s photos also automatically improve your photos – so they are ready to share the moment they sync.

A Few Details about this Plan:

Remember that while you get 15GB of free space, that is shared with your Google Drive documents, photos and Gmail; therefore, if you use all three, you may run out of space relatively quickly. If you do run out of space, you can upgrade to the 100GB plan for $1.99 per month or even the 1TB plan for $9.99 per month.

Worried about security? Google Drive offers excellent security, but privacy may be an issue. They do state that they collect information for their own purposes – but no one knows just how much information they gather and how it is stored. So, if you prefer maximum security and privacy, you may want to go with a different cloud storage provider.

8.3 Excellent
MediaFire Review
For $2.49 /mo

free trial 10-50GB

MediaFire may not be as great for document storage, but because they offer users up to 50GB of free storage space they are excellent for photo storage.

Mostly MediaFire was created for those who wanted to store their pictures. They make it easy to share, store and sync all of your photos on their platform and are ideal for those who like to access pictures or take them on their mobile devices.

The security, however, is not very great with MediaFire, but if you are just storing photographs, then they are not a bad choice for the price.

A Few Details about this Plan:

MediaFire offers up to 50GB of storage space for free, but this is supported by advertisements. If you want to move to a paid plan, try their 1TB plan for just $2.49 per month.

Uploading large picture files? MediaFire doesn’t have any file size or bandwidth restrictions, so you can upload your HD photos without any issue.

Zoolz Backup Review
For $14.99 /yr

free trial 14 Days
No Credit Card Required for Free Trial!

Zoolz Home also offers excellent storage capacity and lightning fast uploads – which are great for photo backups.

Because Zoolz Home was built on the Amazon AWS service, you get fast backups for your photos and videos. But, the tradeoff is slow downloads. For photo storage users though, this isn’t a big deal – because you just need a place to park your photos and not necessarily access them all the time.

A Few Details about this Plan:

With Zoolz Home you get up to 100GB of storage space for just one user with no backup limitations for $14.99 per year. If you need more, you can upgrade to the 500GB of storage space and up to three users for just $49.99 per year.

Want to sync? While Zoolz Home offers excellent storage at an affordable rate, they do not have great file-syncing. So, you may want to go with Amazon Cloud, Google Drive or Dropbox instead.
