Brownie Selections and Varieties: (Rating: 9/10)
Love variety? With 105 brownie gift options, Chocolate.org has a multitude of brownie flavors and styles, and is certain to have exactly what you are looking for. Since this vendor specializes in gifts, they do not offer any brownies for individual purchase, but they certainly have an incredible selection of purchasing options!
If you want to purchase a small quantity, they offer multiple, lovely six to eight-piece gift boxes such as a brownie box from Embrace Sweets, which contains an assortment of delightful flavors including chocolate raspberry, peanut butter and espresso. This marketplace also has many assortments from artisan bakeries with quantities of 12 to 24. Some of these options include Madeline Pantry’s 24-piece gift set with a variety of flavors such as blondies and turtle brownies and Ruth’s Brownie Kitchen’s ever-popular Valrhona classic cake style brownies in a beautifully-packaged set of a dozen.
Specialty Brownies: (Rating: 9/10)
Since Chocolate.org has just about every variety and style of brownie available in their marketplace, we were not surprised to see a wonderful variety of fun, seasonal gift options on their website. Some of these include adorable heart-shaped brownie bites from Veronica’s Treats, perfect for Valentine’s Day and a spooky set of Halloween-themed, triple chocolate brownies from Lady Fortunes, Inc.
With a diverse selection of unique and exotic brownie creations, this marketplace can be a bit overwhelming at times; however, their website allows customers to specify contents and ingredients, which makes it easy to find specialty items that you may be looking for. They have several fair trade options, as well as seven Kosher-certified brownie sets and 49 completely nut-free offerings. They also have three varieties of gluten-free brownies and a gluten-free brownie mix.
Despite their wide variety of brownies, Chocolate.org does not have any sugar-free or vegan options available for purchase at this time.
Club Membership Option: (Rating: 0/10)
Although Chocolate.org has several decadent chocolate of the month clubs, they do not offer a brownie of the month club at this time. With their vast resources and endless flavors, this is a perk we hope to see soon.
Pricing: (Rating: 9/10)
We love that this marketplace lets customers shop by price range, ensuring everyone finds something within their budget. They have several pleasing gift options that are under $30.00, such as Ruth’s Brownie Kitchen’s delicious brownie “zingers” starting at $8.00 and Red Velvet Kitchen’s rich brownie mix starting at $6.00. Their boxed sets start as low as $15.50 for a set of six dark chocolate brownies with many other sets for $29.50.
For those with a little more to spend, Chocolate.org has a wide selection of brownie assortment for $60 or less, including a 10-piece set of decadent, chocolate-dipped brownies and cookies from the Chocolate Covered Company for $34.50. Other sets in this price range include 12-piece assortment from Embrace the Sweets for $44.50 and a triple chocolate enrobed brownie cake from Bake Me A Wish for $47.50. Their marketplace brownie sets top off $79.50 for their 24-piece assortment of individually-wrapped gourmet brownies from Embrace Sweets.
With all of their options, we would like to see brownies available for individual purchase for those of us on a tighter budget.
